This article explains how the selection process works, why some dates are not announced early, and how and when you will hear from us.

🧭 The Selection Process: Step by Step

After applications close, the process follows three clear stages:

1️⃣ Provincial Stage

• Applications are reviewed for eligibility
• Shortlisted candidates are invited to sit provincial exams
• Exams take place in the candidate’s province
• Only candidates who pass this stage move forward

2️⃣ National Stage

• Top candidates from each province advance
• At this stage:
  • National exam results are required
  • Additional assessments may take place
• Performance at this level determines final ranking

3️⃣ Final Selection

• From all national-stage candidates, up to two students are selected
• These students receive the full Angola Brilliant Minds Scholarship

⏳ Why Dates Are Not Announced Early

Many applicants ask for exact exam dates or timelines.

Here is why we do not publish dates in advance:

• The number of applicants varies by province
• Logistics depend on eligibility verification
• Exam schedules must be finalised after applications close

All confirmed dates are shared only when they are final.

📚 Why There Is No Study Guide or Syllabus

Another common question is:

“What should I study?”

Important to know:

• There is no official study guide
• There is no fixed syllabus shared in advance
• Exams assess reasoning, readiness, and understanding — not memorisation

All official communication happens via email only.

This includes exam invitations, results, and final decisions.

There are no WhatsApp groups, phone calls, or social media confirmations.
